Skiing 2016

In 2015, there was no snow, so we didn't ski and didn't go out west. I bought skis in WI and went to Cascade Mountain (2 days) and then 1 day with JEF at Heiliger Huegel (Holy Hill). All in the same week (about March 4 and 5 and then March 8). It was -30 windchill on Wednesday and Thursday, and the snow season ended on Sunday with 50ish temperatures.

In 2016, we went the day after state wrestling season ended (Feb 28) and left on March 7. Yes--flew home on a Monday. It was great. Three times (?) at Mt. Ashland and once at Mt. Bachelor. (will have to check, I think we did Monday at Ashland, Wednesday at Bachelor, Friday, and Sunday at Ashland...



Now P and I are out in Lutherville on our way to New York City for Five Days Five Boroughs, as part of the Road Scholar organization. Joan W., Joan Donovan, and us. (We will all be together in August to go to the US Open again!)
